Big on Christmas

Here is a hand-stamped Christmas Card that I offered as part of a card buffet in the past. I love the Big on Christmas stamp set. We stamped it in red, then again in black and cut out the snowman from the black image. After coloring and cutting out, mount the snowman with a stampin' dimensional.

Single Ornament

This is another card that I received as part of a demonstrator swap. If you want to join my team, you can participate in these fun events with other demonstrators. I just love the ideas that we give to one another.

This card uses Delightful Decorations and the ornament punch, a perfect duo! Colors are Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant.

Heard from the Heart Holiday Card

Here is a Christmas card that some of you may recognize. We did it as part of a stamp-a-stack last year. I stamped the snowflakes from the Snow Swirled set in white and then the greeting from Heard from the Heart in garden green. The scallop edge punch and striped grosgrain ribbon add the finishing touches to this quick and fun card.

Delightful Decorations is my FAVORITE new Christmas stamp set (in case you couldn't already tell from my posts). I received this card from a swap with other demonstrators, but the maker did not sign their work so I can't give credit. This card features two ornaments tied with the silver elastic cord that can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. There are so many possibilities with this stamp set, be sure to order yours today. If you order by Saturday, you can take advantage of my amazing stamp sale and get it for 10-15% off!!!

Digital Snowflake Card

A few squares of paper, a scallop edge, a punch, a button, and a greeting make a fast and fun Christmas card. I think I'll have to try using this recipe on other cards and see how they turn out.

This is another fast card that I made using My Digital Studio. The template was done for me, I just changed the punch and greeting, but everything else was already created. I love that these pre-created templates not only make fast cards, but also inspire me to make hand stamped cards using the same layout. I hope you are enjoying the card ideas so far. Stay tuned for more cards (hand-stamped and digital).

Another My Digital Studio Card

Here is another card as part of my Virtual stamping class this month. It is another card that I made with My Digital Studio, but the great thing is I could make it with my regular stamps and paper too!

My Digital Studio makes projects so easy! I love the way this card turned out, and it is digital so I could print a bunch of them and send them out for my Christmas card this year. I also like how I was able to create it without making a big mess. I think I'll re-create this one using real stamps now. This software works well to create digital projects, but it is also a great way to conceptualize the "regular" stamping projects that you want to make. I was able to play around with it and change colors and layers without wasting supplies.

First Digital Christmas Card

Here is the first of a bunch of cards that I am going to upload as part of my Virtual stamp class over the next week.

This is my first card that uses My Digital Studio. This is a great new paper crafting software that Stampin' Up! just came out with. You can make cards, calendars, digital scrapbooks, and more with this program. This card took less than 5 minutes to create. You can start from scratch or make a card that already uses a template. I just added the background pieces and the ribbon, the snowflake elements were already done for me.

If you'd like to find out more about My Digital Studio, or would like to get it for yourself, give me a call (or email). Remember, I'm still having my amazing sale and you could get this for 10-18% off if you act now.

There are still good discounts left....

Did you see my post yesterday about my amazing sale? Well, two people have taken advantage of it, but that means there are still great discounts left. Will you be one of the lucky customers to get more than 10% off? Who wants to get 18% off their order? Contact me now to place your order.

Here is my best ever special offer....

With the H1N1 flu going around (including in our household), October's stamp class is going to be Virtual. Visit this blog over the next week for card ideas in lieu of an actual hands on class this month. I'll be posting some new cards over the next week. In addition, I am offering an amazing special to all of you, one that I've never offered before.

The FIRST person who emails me or calls me with an order will get 20% off their ENTIRE order (that is MY discount, so it's not going to get better than that)! The second person gets 19% off, 3rd gets 18% off, and so on. Once we hit 10% off we'll stop there and everyone can take advantage of that. This is a great time to stock up on supplies for Christmas projects. This special begins today at 7:30pm and ends on Halloween.

Virtual Stamp Class

So, as most of you know I haven't announced any information about my October stamp class yet. I like to hold stamp classes in my home each month, but that isn't going to happen this month. We got one confirmed case of H1N1 in my household over the weekend, so for everyone's benefit this month's stamp class is going to be virtual. I'm going to upload some fun ideas and then I'm going to give you all a special offer that you can take advantage of this month. Stay tuned over the next day or two for details.

3x3 Mini Envelope Pull-out Album

Here are some pictures of the final project that we made at my stamp club class. This is a fun pull-out mini album that is made from the 3x3 envelopes. The cover of the album is 11-1/2"x3-1/2" and it is scored at 8", 7-1/2", 4" and 3-1/2". I use 6-8 mini envelopes for the pockets. Fold the top of the envelope over, lick the glue, and stick it to the next envelope. The final envelope gets glued to the middle of the cover. Once that is done, all that is left is the fun part--decorating and adding photos. I used a Simply Scrappin' Kit to decorate. One kit is enough to do 8-10 albums. These would make fun gifts! They are the perfect size to throw in your purse or diaper bag so that you can show off pics of your kiddos. Let me know if you have any questions.

Dasher Bookmark Card

This is another fun project that I made with my stamp club last week. The card features a detachable bookmark. The card stock is 11"x5-1/2", so you can get one of these cards from a regular sheet of card stock or two from a 12x12 sheet. I used the cutter kit to perforate the card at 2-1/2" for the bookmark. The designer series paper is from the Merry Moments collection, the stamps are from the under $10 section in the back of the catalog. I used the new shimmer paint from the Holiday Mini Catalog to add some sparkle and shine on the front of the card (it looks much better in person). If you have any questions about the bookmark card, let me know.

Birthday Calendars

Here is a picture of a fully stamped Birthday Calendar. You can order a blank Birthday Calendar for $7.95 and then decorate it however you want.

I just ordered 20 of these to make with some ladies at my church. It will be fun! They make great gifts. I love that they can be used year after year.

Christmas Tag Matchbox

This fun little box was made with the Matchbox Bigz XL die for my Big Shot machine. I cut the base of it with Real Red card stock and the top with the Merry Moments designer series paper.

I made some tags to go inside the box with the Delightful Decorations stamp set and the coordinating Ornament punch--I love how these two go together.

Water Bottle Topper

Last night I had a special class for the ladies who are in my stamp club. This was a free class as a Thank You for being part of the club. We made some fun projects that were different than the types of things I usually do at a hands-on class. We had a great time together. If you are interested in joining a stamp club, let me know. I'll be starting a new one in January.

This project is a water bottle topper. I love the little packets of Kool-Aid (for an 8oz bottle) or Crystal Light or Country Time Lemonade (for a 16oz bottle). The topper is 3" wide by 8-1/2" long. I scored the paper at 3" to make the pocket and then decorated it. I love how the scallop circle punch and 1-1/4" circle punch make a fun collar and reinforce the card stock where the topper sits on the water bottle.

I used basic black, pumpkin pie, and always artichoke for this project. The stamps are from the Pumpkin Patch set that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I used some always artichoke brads to secure the pocket.

Fall Tote

Here is a picture of the make-n-take project that I prepared for my last downline meeting. I promised a couple of weeks ago that I'd get this posted, and I guess it is better late than never. Things have been busy around here so my stamping blog was neglected a bit last month.

This tote is made with the Box#2 die for the Big Shot machine. The patterned paper is from the Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper and the colors are Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, and Dusty Durango (all new In Colors). I just love how these 3 colors coordinate so well. The stamps are from the Autumn Splendor set that is in the Holiday Mini catalog. The ribbon is Dusty Durango polka dot ribbon. If you'd like to know how to make this tote, post a comment or email me. If you'd like to have a workshop in your home, I can teach you and your friends how to make this fun tote.

Pumpkin Trio

I love these pumpkin stamps from the Holiday Mini, the set it called Pumpkin Patch. This is another of the cards that we made at last week's stamp-a-stack class.

The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Basic Brown. The patterned paper is from the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper collection. We stamped the greeting and then punched it out with the oval and scalloped oval punches. The Pumpkin Pie card stock has a textured pattern on it (sorry the picture doesn't do it justice) that we created with the big shot and the Texturz Plates.

Autumn Splendor from Holiday Mini

Here is one of the cards that we made at my stamp-a-stack class last week. We made cards that featured stamp sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog. If you haven't see the Holiday Mini, you need to--it is fabulous!!!

This cards uses the Autumn Splendor stamp set and 3 of this year's In Colors (Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, and Soft Suede). At first I didn't love the Autumn Splendor stamp set. The mini doesn't do it justice. Once it is stamped though, it is gorgeous! Those who attended the class agreed! We used the Tearing Edge to tear the Crushed Curry card stock and the Falling Leaves stamp set for the greeting. To finish it all off, we tied a little bit of Soft Suede polka-dot ribbon around the card.
