Virtual Garage Sale

I have to clean out a closet where I've been keeping some of my retired collection of stamps so that I have room for baby boy's stuff. Let me know if there is something you'd like to add to your collection.

All stamp sets are wood mounted (carefully trimmed rubber) and in like new condition unless specified. I prefer to ship priority mail ($5) if you get more than one set I'll see how they best fit to try to save you on shipping, or if you live in the Salt Lake area, you can pick them up.

I've listed the set name along with the copyright date (if known) to help you find it in old catalogs if you want to see the image. You can also request that I email you a picture.

Digital Christmas Cards

I used My Digital Studio to make 3 Christmas cards. It's regularly $79.95 but if you order by Tuesday, November 30th, you can get it for 50% off!

Christmas Cards

I promised in my most recent customer email that I'd upload some Christmas cards in hopes to give you some inspiration (and in lieu of my Annual Christmas Card class), so to start out I'm reposting a few cards from the past. Why repost? So that you can quickly see some ideas instead of searching through my blog and so that I can show you a few things between now and when I photograph the cards I've recently made and new cards I want to make).

This card uses the Snow Swirled stamp set.

This card uses the Season of Joy stamp set, the scallop oval punch, the small oval punch, and the scallop edge punch. Colors are Old Olive and Bravo Burgundy.

These two cards feature the Delightful Decorations stamp set.

Top Note Season of Joy

Here is a pretty quick Christmas card. I love how the Top Note die for the Big Shot helps make some simple cards that don't take a lot of time. I used the Season of Joy stamp set along with Real Red and Wild Wasabi for this card. The ribbon is actually some retired wasabi ribbon that I got from the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack (at a fantastic price)! If you haven't checked out the clearance rack lately, be sure to check it often for the best deals. Go to my website at http://shaunacundick.stampinup.net and click SHOP NOW and then click Clearance Rack. Stampin' Up! adds retired items to it occasionally and everything is while supplies last.

Retired Stamp-a-Stack card

Here's another card from my retiring stamp-a-stack card class. This is a very simple card to make -- just a 1/2 inch wide strip of designer series paper along with a stamp punched out with a circle and layered onto another circle. I rounded the two outer corners with my corner rounder to make the edges a little softer. Colors are Certainly Celery and So Saffron, which are two of my favorite.

Wedding Bells Invite

Here's a card that I designed for my friend to use as a bridal shower invite. Mine doesn't have the "you're invited" stamp on it because I wanted to be able to use it for a congrats or for the bride card instead (and I figured I'd just stamp it when I need to use it). The colors matched the Save the Date from the wedding. We were glad that Stampin' Up! came out with the new Pear Pizazz (one of this year's In Colors) because it matched the wedding colors perfectly. The blue is Brocade Blue (now retired). We textured the background with a textured impressions embossing folder for the big shot and punched the wedding bells stamp (from the retired Sketch and Event stamp set) with a couple of circle punches and layered it onto the scallop punch. The white highlights on the stamp were made with the white Signo Gel Pen. The greeting spot is punched with the modern label punch.

Big Shot Thanks

Here is another card from my Spring Card Buffet. It uses the Top Note die for the Big Shot, along with the Cherry Blossom Embosslits Die (I love this one because it cuts and embosses at the same time). I used the 5 petal flower punch to make the leaves (just cut 2 of the petals off) and put a brad in the center of the flower. The "Thank You" is from the With All My Heart stamp set which debuted in the Occasions Mini Catalog, but is now in the current Idea Book and Catalog as well. I love this set! Check out some of the other cards I've made with it (and posted back in January and February).

Whimsy Wheel & Flowers

This card uses the Whimsy Wheel and the Think Happy Thoughts stamp set (which is now retired). Yep, it's another from my retiring stamp-a-stack class. Colors are certainly celery and rich razzleberry. The greeting is from the current Heard from the Heart stamp set.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010

Pale Plum Garden Whimsy

Here is another card from the retiring Stamp-a-stack that I held in June. The set is Garden Whimsy (greeting is from Sincere Salutations). Colors are all retired too--pale plum, mellow moss, and barely banana. I debated whether I should even post this since the products are retired, but the layout can be modified to fit about any set and color scheme.

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Floral Butterfly

Here is another card from my Spring Card Buffet. It uses the Flight of the Butterfly set and the coordinating punch. Colors are Regal Rose and Almost Amethyst (now retired). The designer series paper is also retired, but you can really make this card with any piece of patterned paper. The ribbon is white taffeta. Another quick and easy card!

Monday, September 20, 2010

Jumbo Stars

Here is another card from the Card Buffet I held in the Spring. This is a quick and easy card featuring the Classic Stars jumbo wheel. The "celebrate" is from the Celebrate Everything stamp set, which is now retired, but you could easily substitute another greeting in place of it. I used Real Red ink and card stock and white craft ink.

Sunday, September 19, 2010

Circle Four Square

I love the Circle Circus stamp set. It is so versatile and can be used for almost any occasion depending on what color scheme you use. It's also one of those stamp sets that can be used on more manly cards (as opposed to my many flower sets). This card uses a few retired colors of card stock and ribbon, but I wanted to share it anyway for the layout idea (since you can easily adapt it with other colors). I used the 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" square punch.

Saturday, September 18, 2010

One of a Kind

Here is one of the cards that we made at my Retiring Stamp-a-Stack class back in June. The set is One of a Kind which is now retired, but I still wanted to share the idea because it could be used with almost any flower set. We stamped the flower image and then cut it out, added a strip of Old Olive card stock and tied a bit of ribbon around it for the leaves. The white is textured with (you guessed it) a textured impressions embossing folder for the Big Shot. Colors are Old Olive, So Saffron, Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, and Chocolate Chip.

Birthday Bliss

Here's a fun birthday card that I made. The background was done with the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for my Big Shot. The fun thing about this folder is that once textured, the card stock has a different look on each side. I'll have to make a card with the other side showing so you can see what I mean. Anyway, I love the rich texture that it gives. I used the Birthday Bliss stamp set for the image on this card. I stamped twice, once in Marina Mist and once in Certainly Celery, then cut the rectangle from the celery image and glued it on top of the other. I added a couple of flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch and a couple of brads along with a strip of So Saffron and that's it. Pretty quick and easy!

Thursday, September 16, 2010

Red & Turquoise Pizzaz

Here is a card that I had available at a card buffet back in the Spring (yes, I'm slow getting it posted to my blog). I used the Petal Pizazz stamp set for the flowers and the colors are Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Bermuda Bay (which is retired now). This is a quick and easy layout for stamping.

Invitation Pocket for Bridal Shower Invite

This is a fun invitation pocket that is easy to make. I made 100 shower invitations for a friend and this is what I did. The pocket measures 4 inches high by 12 inches wide, so you can get 3 pockets out of a sheet of designer series paper. If you cut the paper correctly, you can actually get 4 invites out of a sheet (you have to cut it in an X if that makes sense--so that you have 4 triangles each with a 12 inch base, then cut 2 inches off the top of the triangle).

I used the 5 petal flower punch and the 1/2" circle punch to make the flower accent, which was punched from scraps leftover from the pocket. I secured the bottom of the pocket with SNAIL adhesive. Pretty easy.

Awash With Flowers--part 4

Here's another card featuring the Awash With Flowers stamp set. I think it still needs a greeting stamped on the red card stock, but I left it blank so I can stamp a specific greeting when I need to use the card. I love the Top Note die for my Big Shot machine, it makes easy cards and I like this layout. Colors used in this card are Basic Black, Rose Red, So Saffron, and Certainly Celery.

Monday, September 13, 2010

Simple Trendy Trees

This is a simple card that I offered at a card buffet class back in April (sorry I'm so slow to post). We used the Trendy Trees set along with the coordinating wheel. Colors are Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip. The white circle was made with the 1-3/8" circle punch.

New product swap card

The new catalog officially debuted in July. As a demonstrator, I was able to take advantage of a special pre-order for some of the new products in June. Each month, I get together with other demonstrators to share ideas and to swap, and our June swap was supposed to use some of the new products that we could pre-order. This is my swap card. It features the new Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist markers, card stock, and ribbon. The large scallop punch is also one of the new products.

I textured the paper with my big shot (love those textured impressions folders) and I used the word window punch for the greeting. The cake image and greeting are from the Fun and Fast Notes set (a great all-occasion set).

Saturday, September 11, 2010

Awash With Flowers--part 3

Here is another use for the Awash With Flowers stamp set. I love how there are so many different flowers in this set, which makes creating several different cards easy (without feeling like they all look the same). I used Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Early Espresso on this card. It may be hard to see, but I stamped some color on color flower images on the celery card stock to add a little dimension to it. The greeting is from Sincere Salutations (a great set for many occasions).

Birthday Bliss and Builder Wheel

I'm always looking for new ideas for Birthday cards and I've been wanting to use the Birthday Bliss stamp set for a long time (but just haven't gotten around to it). Well, thanks to one of my friends, we got this stamp set out and spent some time creating some cards with it. Am I the only one who occasionally sits down for over an hour and struggles to come up with one decent card? Luckily after many tries, I came up with a winner.

The colors in this card are Certainly Celery and So Saffron--two of my favorites! I used the scallop-edge punch along the wheeled image. The birthday candle wheel is one of the new builder wheels called Candle Crazy (you can put up to 3 builder wheels on the jumbo handle and wheel them all at once) but for this card I just used one of the wheels. I love how the stamped candle image from the Birthday Bliss stamp set fits perfectly with the tag punches.

Thursday, September 9, 2010

Awash With Flowers--part 2

Here is another card made with the Awash With Flowers Stamp set (with a little help from Sincere Salutations). I used the new Marina Mist (blue) ink and card stock paired with Certainly Celery. The outline of the stamp is done with the new Early Espresso, which is a great new deep brown. The ribbon is white taffeta. I used the scallop edge punch along the white card stock and I textured the Marina Mist card stock with the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder for my big shot (the textured impressions folders are my absolute favorite tools for the Big Shot).

Awash With Flowers--part 1

I LOVE the new Awash With Flowers stamp set that is in the Stampin' Up! 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog. I've always liked the 2 Step Stampin' sets, but this one is especially fun. I like how the insides don't match exactly with the outsides, so you don't have to be exact because it doesn't make a difference. I've used the new Daffodil Delight (yellow) ink, card stock, and ribbon, along with good old Basic Black for this card. The greeting is from Sincere Salutations. Stay tuned for more samples with this great stamp set!

Bridal Shower Invite

Last week a friend of mine needed to make bridal shower invitations. She had seen this idea in a Stampin' Up! magazine and modified it to fit the wedding colors. I love the layout and the colors. We sat down and stamped and punched and assembled and got them done.

Supplies include the Hugs and Wishes stamp set, top note big shot die, large flower punch, 5-petal flower punch (for the leaves), boho blossoms punch, black brads, real red, basic black, and certainly celery.

A Fond Farewell

Now for some stamping news...
Stampin' Up! just announced that they are going to do a color renovation in July. They are bringing back some of the In Colors from the past and they are introducing 6 brand new colors!!! Exciting!!! And I LOVE the new colors!!! To make room for these changes, we all must say goodbye to some of our old colors (shown above). If you have any of these colors, you should order a refill so that you can use them for many years to come. If you don't have them and want them, now is the time to get them

More to come

It's been a crazy couple of weeks and I feel bad that I've neglected my blog a bit. First off I was preparing for the Stamping for Babies event (and I have some fun cards to post from that). We raised over $80 for the March of Dimes, and we hope to continue to raise a whole lot more. If you'd like to just make a donation, click on the banner at the top of my blog. Otherwise, stay tuned for more events where the money will be donated.

After the Stamping for Babies event, I was going to upload the cards, but we had some internet issues. That is all fixed now, so more pictures will be posted soon.

Finally, I've been super involved with the March for Babies and we just had a big event for our family teams last night. Now that one more event is over, I can give a little more time to this blog.

Stamping for Babies

Come to a fun STAMPING FOR BABIES Card Buffet (where you get to pick from several cards and make as many as you want). Note: Stamping for Babies is the cause, it doesn't mean we are only stamping baby cards.

Date: Tuesday, March 30th at Noon or 7pm (your choice). Bring your own adhesive, I'll provide all of the other supplies. Everything is pre-cut and ready for you to stamp and assemble, so you can go home with finished cards ready to use.

Cost is $1 donation per card. All of the money raised will go to "Team Sydney and Friends" in the March for Babies (March of Dimes). Come have a fun time stamping and support a great cause at the same time. The mission of the March of Dimes is to help all babies be born healthy (by preventing birth defects, prematurity, and infant mortality).

This cause is near and dear to us as Sydney was born at 27 weeks and spent 100 days in the hospital. This year we are the Ambassador Family for the March of Dimes and we want to help spread the word about what they do. Please help us help other babies. You can see more about the March for Babies on our team website http://marchforbabies.org/teams/Sydney. If you'd like to donate to or walk with our team, you can do so on our website (or contact me).

Kindness from the Heart II

Here's another variation of one of the cards I posted last week. I changed the colors around because I needed to use a different striped paper from the Welcome Neighbor designer series paper pack. I used the Heard from the Heart stamp set for the greeting and the I (Heart) Hearts set for the heart. The patterned paper is from the Welcome Neighbor DSP that is available for FREE during Sale-a-Bration (ends March 31). I used the 1-3/4" circle punch to punch out the heart. This is a quick and easy card to make. Colors are certainly celery, real red, and always artichoke.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Pastel For All You Do

I wish that the pastel colors would show up a little better in photographs, but hopefully you can see this well enough. I used the For All You Do stamp set for the flowers and stamped them in Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana, and Certainly Celery. I layered three different papers from the Tea Party designer series paper collection and tied a pretty in pink grosgrain ribbon around the card.

Monday, March 15, 2010

Baby Fox and Friends

Here's a generic baby card using the Fox and Friends stamp set. I stuck with the generic baby colors so that I could make a bunch of this card to have on hand and not run out of girl or boy cards. Colors are So Saffron and Certainly Celery. The strip of designer series paper is from the Welcome Neighbor paper stack that is available until the end of this month for free. I used the white taffeta ribbon and scallop edge punch to finish off the card.

Razzleberry Butterfly

I've been taking advantage of nap time this week and I've gotten a bunch of stamping done. This card is one that I just sat down and made with the intention to use this paper and the butterfly punch. It is a pretty simple card with very little stamping, but I like the way it turned out. I used the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper, layered it on some Old Olive card stock, layered that on white, tied a piece of white taffeta ribbon around that, and mounted it all on a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock. The butterfly stamp is from the Flight of the Butterfly set and is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink, then punched out with the butterfly punch--I LOVE how the punch fits the stamps!!! I mounted the butterfly onto the card with some Stampin' Dimensionals and that is it. Enjoy!

Razzleberry Birthday

Does this card look familiar? Check out my post from March 7 and you'll see why. I made the same card but I used Rich Razzleberry instead of Bermuda Bay. If you like this stamp set (Happy Moments) you have just a couple more weeks to get it--Sale-a-Bration ends on March 31st. Place a $50 order now and you'll get it for FREE.

Flower Punch Thank You

I love the new flower punch that debuted in this year's Occasions Mini Catalog! It helps make such fun and easy cards! When I created this card, I decided to use up some scraps of designer series paper that I've had, so that is what I did. I used some rainbow sherbet dsp (I wish they still sold it) and it gave me color inspiration for the card. Card stock colors include apricot appeal, gable green, and tempting turquoise. The thank you stamp is from the On the Spot stamp set.

Kindness from the Heart

I've used this basic layout on 3x6 cards, but thought it might be fun to try out on a basic 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 card. I like the way it turned out, and this card size allows for a greeting along the bottom of the card.

Patterned Balloon Birthday

Here's a fun way to "color" in stamped images--stamp the image on your card, then stamp it onto a piece of patterned paper, cut it out, and glue the patterned image onto the original image.

This is the fourth card that we did at my birthday stamp-a-stack. We used the Melon Mambo Patterns DSP paper, black and white card stock, the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, and some black gingham ribbon.

Monkey Birthday

Here's a third card from the Birthday stamp-a-stack. I used the Fox and Friends stamp set for the monkey, the Party Hearty set for the party hat, and the Eat Cake set for the "happy birthday". Colors are certainly celery, chocolate chip, and brilliant blue. The patterned paper is from the Tall Tales Designer Series Paper collection. I punched the monkey out with the 1-3/8" circle punch and layered it onto a paper punched with the scallop circle punch.

Bermuda Birthday

Here is another card from my Birthday stamp-a-stack. If you follow my blog, you may recognize the focal point for this card. Back in January I posted a 3x3 card that I used for this card. All I did was take the front of that small card and mount it on some crushed curry card stock and then layer it on the bermuda bay card base. The greeting at the bottom is from the Heard from the Heart stamp set. The focal images are from the sale-a-bration set Happy Moments (which you can still get for FREE with a $50 order placed by the end of this month).

Cumpleanos attempt #1

We didn't make this card at the stamp-a-stack, but I wanted to share it anyway. In my attempt to make a more gender neutral (not girly) card, I made this card with the intention of using it for the class. I wasn't crazy about the black gingham and the fancy font for a boy card, so I tried again with the same layout and different colors (see yesterday's post).

Cumpleanos Birthday

I'm finally posting the cards that we made at my Birthday Stamp-a-Stack last week. This card features the Cumpleanos stamp set that is found in the Spanish Stampin' Up! Catalog. I just noticed it in there a few months ago and realized that it isn't in the regular catalog, but it is available for $15.95. I love the bold images because they make for quick and colorful cards. The "celebrate" comes from the Celebrate Everything stamp set. Colors are green galore, tempting turquoise, only orange, and yoyo yellow.

Stay tuned

I apologize for the lack of card posts lately. Between being out of town, preparing for workshops, being out of town again, and now preparing for my next class, I've neglected this blog a bit. I do have some fun new cards that I'm ready to post, so stay tuned. I'll share my Birthday Card stamp-a-stack samples after tomorrow's class.

Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack

You are invited to a Birthday Card Stamp-a-Stack.

If you're like me, you are always in need of birthday cards. I seem to need them when I'm trying to run out the door. Come stamp some cards so that you'll be ready ahead of time! We'll be stamping a dozen birthday cards (3 each of 4 designs) so that you'll go home with finished cards ready to send. Please bring your own adhesive. All other supplies will be provided. Cost is $10. Place a $30 order that night and $5 of your class fee will go towards the order. You can take advantage of the Sale-a-Bration special and also order from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Thursday, February 25th at 7pm
Shauna's House (2196 E 3715 S)

Please let me know if you plan to attend so that I can prepare enough supplies. Bring a friend to stamp her own cards (ages 12 and up) that I didn't invite and you'll both receive a free gift. The first 5 to RSVP will be entered in a drawing for a prize. Feel free to forward this info on to your friends and family.

Fancy Favor Pouch

Once a month I get together with other demonstrators in my group to share ideas and to stamp. Here is the project that I made for today's get together. Our theme today was to make a project using the Big Shot.

I made this with the Fancy Favor box. Instead of folding it all to make a box, I cut off one of the sections (the one that would be either the front or back of the box) and turned it into a pouch instead by glueing the two sides onto each other. This is a perfect size to put a gift card inside or just a note for a friend. I decorated the pouch with the new flower punch, paper from the Cottage Wall DSP collection, the 1" circle punch, and some Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon. The Wish Big stamp is from the Short and Sweet stamp set.

Another 3x6 card

I'm really on a 3x6 card kick. Maybe it is because they are so fast and easy. One of my friends is getting married in May and her colors are Pink Passion and Green Galore, so I decided to make her a few thank you cards in those colors. I stamped a flower from the Petal Pizzaz stamp set and then used some scraps of designer series paper that was retired a few years ago. The thank you stamp is from the Short and Sweet stamp set.
