Bold and Fresh Silhouettes

I played along with the sketch challenge again this week over at Freshly Made Sketches.  I like how this sketch incorporated the three strips behind the stamped image.  What a great way to use scrap strips of card stock--although I admit that I cut up a piece of card stock because I didn't have any scraps of this color.  I picked three of this year's In Colors--Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, and Gumball Green.  I love how bold and rich these colors are together.  My flowers come from Summer Silhouettes and the greeting is from Sassy Salutations.  I used the Elegant Lines Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the side piece of Gumball Green card stock to accent the green leaves in my stamped image.  My card base is Raspberry Ripple with some of the patterns designer series paper (from the In Color stack) mounted on top of it.  Thanks for stopping by!
