I took the weekend off from blogging, and the "weekend" turned into quite a long weekend since today is already Wednesday! We took a drive up the canyon on Saturday and saw the Fall leaves and they were gorgeous. Last year we went a week later and this year the leaves seemed about two weeks early as many had already fallen by the time we got there. Fall is in full swing now with cooler temperatures and colorful mountains.
This is another card that we made at my Fall Stamp-a-Stack last week. We stamped leaves from the Gently Falling stamp set in Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Old Olive. I used the "thank you" from the Lacy & Lovely set and stamped that in Old Olive. After stamping, we cut the stamped layer into three sections (approximate thirds, but as you can see they are not all the same size) and then layered them onto some Crumb Cake card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals. I tied a bit of natural twine to tie in the Crumb Cake layer and stuck it on with a mini glue dot and then layered everything onto my Cajun Craze card base.
